I offer therapy for children (ages 3+), adolescents, and adults.
As a former teacher, developer of an evidence-based curriculum for youth, youth coach, and as a mom I consider myself a lifelong learner. My passions include restorative justice, studying emerging knowledge in the field of neurobiology, and community advocacy. I am currently working toward certification in multiple evidence-based practices and trauma treatment models. I am also working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapistâ„¢. I utilize evidence-based modalities and enjoy using play, expressive arts, sandtray, parts work, and body-based practices to help kids, teens and adults heal and feel whole.
I am a licensed master social worker. I have 14 years of experience working with children and adolescents as a classroom teacher and in sexual assault and exploitation prevention, and teaching trauma awareness programs to educators and professionals in the community.
I have expertise in working with those who experience anxiety, depression, grief, school & behavioral concerns, divorce, sports and performance-related stressors, and trauma. For my younger clients, I partner closely with parents, providing parent coaching and collaboration, using healthy attachment.
I look forward to seeing you, learning with you, and supporting your journey.
I am currently under clinical supervision of Ragan Snyder-Smith, LCSCW, RPT-S.
